Mission Statement

In the face of repeated cries that "poetry is dead," the Central Arkansas Broadside Project seeks to refute that claim and increase the number of poetry readers among the general population.  To do so, broadsides will be designed and distributed around central Arkansas, and perhaps beyond, featuring not only a poem but also a list of the poet's recommendations on other authors the public might also enjoy.

In this way, we hope to get the word out that poetry is alive and well.
